• Firstly, follow the steps in the Configuration Guide to add the Quick Metadata Search component in the Sidebar, once the Configuration steps are completed then it looks like the below -

• From the drop-down, select the component which you want to use for the search. 
• Enter the keyword for the records search. and click on the Search Button
• 
• It’ll redirect to the new window and provide the search results for that specific component like the below image.
