  • This article is to list down the scope for Drag, Drop & Upload Files to Amazon S3: Child to Parent: Add-On.


Specifications

  • This add-on will populate PARENT relation (lookup) when documents are uploaded against CHILD records in Salesforce.
  • For e.g., if documents (files) are being uploaded against Contact, this add-on will automatically tag/relate the same document (file) to parent Account too. 
  • In short, there will be just one file in Amazon S3, but in Salesforce there will be multiple links (records, not actual file) to access the same single file from Amazon S3
  • This add-on is dynamic and can be made to work between many parent-child relationships.
