Mass Assign Permission provides a simple way to assign permission for multiple permission sets and custom permission sets as well. You only need to open the tab, select the permission you want to give and click OK. For example, select the "Mass Assign Field Permissions" tab, select object, select permission set, select fields, and click on the fetch permission button and click on save.
