How to add Metadata Search Lightning Component on lightning record page? Print

If you want to see the Metadata search component on lightning record page of the respective object. Let’s take an example of adding this component on an Account Record Page.

Go to any Account Record.
Click on Setup → Edit Page

Under Custom-Managed list, you’ll see MetadataSearchLightningComponent, drag the component to the desired place on the layout.

Save the page and activate it (If it’s not activated).
You will be able to see the Metadata search component on the Account Record Page.
