To use the One Click Update lightning component on the record page, first, you need to configure the fields for that specific Object(Ex. Opportunity) by following the below steps - 

  • Configuring Fields for One Click Update:
    • Go to the "About One Click Update" tab in the One Click Update application.
    • Important Post-Install Steps Click On "Step 1
    • Click on the "Select Field(s)" button.
    • Choose the "Opportunity" object from the "Select Object" dropdown.
    • Select the required fields from the available list.
    • Move the selected fields to the "Selected Fields" section.
    • Click on "Save & Close".


  • Edit the Record Page:
    • Navigate to the record page where you wish to add the Lightning component.
    • Access the Lightning App Builder: Click on the gear icon on the page.
    • Select "Edit Page" from the options. This action will open the Lightning App Builder.
    • In the Lightning App Builder, go to the "Details" tab.
    • Locate the "One Click Update Lightning component".
    • Drag and drop the component onto the desired section of the page layout.
    • After placing the component "Save" the changes.
    • After Adding this component your Records Details page looks like below where you can easily update picklist values.
