If you're experiencing an internal server error on the List View, platform encryption might be one of the reasons for this issue. If platform encryption is enabled in your org and the name field is configured, follow the  below steps to resolve this problem:

  • Go to Setup.
  • In the search box, look for "encryption" and select "Encryption Policy".
  • Click on the "Encrypt Fields" link.

This action will open the Setup page. Then:

  • Click on "Edit".
  • Uncheck the checkbox next to the Name field.
  • Save the changes.

After removing the Name field from encryption, you can efficiently use List View for mass updates.
