Migrate Page helps to migrate files that are already present in your org.
There are 2 ways you can migrate files from the Migrate Files/Attachments Page.
1. Migrate Now tab :
- Select File/Attachment - Select the type of file you want to migrate.
- Filter Files by adding SOQL filter condition - Filter the files/attachments you want to migrate. Write SOQL conditions to filter them.
- Selected object - Only selected objects will be consider for migrate files to Amazon S3.
- Delete Files After Upload - By turning this toggle on, the files will be deleted after migration.
- Reconsider already migrated Files - If you have not deleted files after migration and want to migrate those files again. Turn on this toggle.
- Enable Custom Attribute Trigger - Turning this toggle on will send values from Salesforce to Amazon S3 as Custom Metadata. (This can be defined on the Custom Attribute Mapping Additional feature).
- Search button - On click of Search, Files/Attachments will be searched based on the above configuration.
After the Search is complete, a table of files/attachments will be displayed.
- Migrate All - Migrate All button will migrate all the files that we have received in the table.
- Migrate Selected - Select the Files from the List you want to migrate, the selected files/attachments will be migrated.
Once you click on Migrate All or Migrate Selected buttons. The following screen will appear.
- Start Migration (UI) - Using this feature, you can migrate files from UI directly. Note: You cannot close this screen while the migration
- Start Migration (Batch) - Using this feature, you can migrate files/attachments from the backend, and you can close the screen while migrating. Note: This feature limits you to migrate files that are less than 10 MB.
