Yes, the app allows you to migrate files in the background using the “Migrate Via Batch” option, so there’s no need to stay on the screen while the migration is in progress.
When you click on the “Start Migration (Batch)” button, the app uses Batch Apex to process and migrate all the filtered Files/Attachments. This means the migration continues in the background, and you’re free to navigate away from the screen or work on other tasks.
Important Note:
This method only supports migrating files up to 8.5 MB in size.
Any files exceeding the 8.5 MB limit will not be migrated using this batch approach.
