Yes, you can track both the original file name and the name after the file is renamed with a suffix. Follow these steps:
- Open the Mass File Download app and go to the "About Mass File Download" tab.
- In the "File Download Configuration" section, ensure that the "Rename Downloaded Files for Deduplication" setting is OFF, and the "Rename Downloaded Files with File Name Suffix" setting is turned ON.
- Click the "Save" button to save your settings.
With these settings in place, the downloaded file will be renamed with the value specified in the field. To configure the file name suffix, please refer to the steps mentioned here: Configuration of File Name Suffix.- Once the file is downloaded, open the File Mapping.csv file.
- In this file, you will find two columns:
- Original File Name: This column contains the names of the files before any renaming occurs.
- Name: This column contains the names of the files after they have been renamed with the specified suffix.
