Yes, you can track both the original file name and the name after the file is renamed. Follow these steps:

  • Open the Mass File Download app and navigate to the "About Mass File Download" tab.
  • In the "File Download Configuration" section, make sure that the "Rename Downloaded Files for Deduplication" setting is ON, and the "Rename Downloaded Files with File Name Suffix" setting is turned OFF.
  • With this setting in place, after the file is downloaded, open the File Mapping.csv file.
  •  In this file, you will find two columns:
    • Original File Name: This column contains the names of the files before any renaming occurs.
    • Name: This column contains the names of the files after they have been renamed with the ContentDocumentLinkId and File Name Suffix(if the File Name suffix is configured in excluded objects) else File Name renamed with {Original File Name}-{ContentDocumentLinkId}.extension
