Yes, you can rename files after downloading them with their existing file name and a suffix. Follow these steps:
- Open the Mass File Download app and go to the "About Mass File Download" tab.
- In the "File Download Configuration" section, ensure that both the "Rename Downloaded Files for Deduplication" setting and the "Rename Downloaded Files with File Name Suffix" setting are turned OFF.
- Configure File Name Suffix in Excluded Object - To set up the file name suffix, please follow the steps outlined in the Configuration of File Name Suffix.
- With these settings in place, the downloaded file will be renamed as follows: {OriginalFileName}-{Suffix}.extension.
- If the "Suffix" field contains a value, the downloaded file will be renamed using the format {OriginalFileName}-{Suffix}.extension.
- If the "Suffix" field is empty, the file will not be renamed.
